Sarah Harding Is British, Famous, Has Tattoos

The title of this article pretty much sums up what we knew about Sarah Harding before we found out that the recently got a new back tattoo, but once we started to look into the former Girls Aloud group member, we quickly realized that our UK readers absolutely love her! The reality contested turned-bonafide pop-star has a had a ton of hits, and has used the proceeds from them to get a few tattoos, most recently one on her back that says “Don’t be Bitter- Glitter”. She got in the wake of an abuse scandal between her and her former boyfriend; we’re assuming that it’s meant to be inspirational. She also has a small star on the side of her neck (behind her ear), and some Tibetan script on her forearm. She also used to have a small tattoo on her shoulder blade that she recently got removed via laser-surgery. She wears all of her tattoos well, and they fit in well with her glamorous bad girl image.

Maroon 5′s Adam Levine Loves His Mom, Music, And Ink

As the lead singer of ulra-popular pop/rock quintet Maroon 5, Adam Levine has won multiple Grammy Awards; hit the top of the charts with songs like “This Love”, “Harder To Breathe”, and “Wake Up Call”; and secured himself a gig as a vocal coach on the hit reality show The Voice. Adam Levine is a full fledged rock star, and part of being a rock star is getting tattoos, and Levine has done that plenty. Amongst his tattoos are a tribute to his mom on his left forearm, triple “2”s on is forearm to represent the first studio Maroon 5 recorded in, a paw print, a shark representing his nickname, “Los Angeles” on his right shoulder to represent his hometown, a guitar on his forearm, a large tiger on his forearm, the roman numeral “X” to celebrate his bands ten year anniversary, a dove and cherry blossoms in rememberance on 9/11, a a bird on his sternum (perhaps to commemorate when he broke it), and some other various designs throughout his body.

Ed Westwick’s Ink

Best known for his work on the hit series Gossip Girl, and for having the the strangest, most Batman-esque American accent that an Englishman has ever commited to film, Ed Westwick has a surprising amount of ink on his body. The J Edgar star has “Heartbreak Hotel” on his chest, “21 Grams” on his shoulder, “Love Me Two Times” (a song by The Doors), “I heart romance” on his forearm, “You make me feel like the one” across his shoulder, a giant feather on the back of his left arm, and a naked lady (check out our awesome censoring technique) on his right arm. Having this many unconventional tattoos doesn’t make sense for the CW star, until you remember that he’s also the lead singer for indy rock band The Filthy Youth…then it comes together a little better. Westwick has publically stated that he wants to keep getting inked, so stay tuned for updates here at Celebrity Tattoo Design.

Rob Zombie’s Zombie Tattoos

What kind of tattoos does Rob Zombie have? That’s a dumb question. Obviously, he has demons, skulls and zombies. Sorry, no dolphins or butterflies. Now, it isn’t easy to get decent pictures of his tats because you know he normally walks around only in the dark in a black trench coat but we managed to dig up a few. What you can see are some colorful sleeves with scary faces and blood and carnage. You ever see a fat, white pasty, dork kid with a tattoo of some sinister horror face and you think to yourself “What an idiot, that looks terrible.”? Well, that’s because there is a certain class of tattoos that only look good on somebody like Rob Zombie and other people shouldn’t really mess around with them.

CM Punk’s Many Tattoos

CM Punk is one of the most famous and highly touted professional wrestlers in the entire World Wrestling Entertainment Universe; he’s also one the most tattooed. His extensive ink includes: the Cobra logo on his right shoulder (from G.I. Joe), the markings of the Arashikage ninja clan on his right forearm (also from G.I. Joe), the Pepsi logo on his left shoulder, four ace cards (part of a piece he calls “Luck is for Losers”, and a tribute to his trainer Ace Steel), a three-eyed Koi Fish, a spider web with the number 13 in the middle (he says 13 is his lucky number), a Bouncing Souls (the band) logo consisting of a broken heart and skyscrapers, “DRUG FREE” across his knuckles, a Rocket From The Crypt (band) logo, “Straight Edge” on his stomach, a pez dispenser, Operation Ivy’s “Dancing Ska Man” on his leg, Rosie the Riveter with the words “There is a war” below her, “No Gimmick Needed” on his hand, a skull and dragon piece on his chest, a dead fish on his back, and some other random tattoos that represent his straight edge/ punk rock lifestyle.

Axl Rose’s 80s Tats are Colorful and Sharp

You know the front man for Guns N’ Roses has to have some tattoos. You might expect to see some guns or some roses or both. And yes! he has a big blue rose on one shoulder. Sorry no luck on the guns but what he does have is the Appetite for Destruction logo on his forearm although it has gotten a little faded and blurry and looks like a green blob. We’re glad he chose to get the logo for that album and not the one for The Spaghetti Incident. Also, there is a cool 1980s-looking, big-hair woman on his arm. His tats are sharply done and have some bright red, blue, green and yellow coloring. They mark Axl in his place in time as an 80s rocker and we like it.

James Hetfield Still Adding Ink Art

metallica-0-james

Although James Hatfield is now 48 years old and has been a rocker for more than 30 years with the heavy metal rock band Metallica he is still adding on new tattoos. Over the years of his arms have been slowly but surely filling in with new ink designs with a lot of them coming more recently, for example, about two years ago he had a new skull done on his neck.

Some highlights are “Carpe Diem”, Jesus, crosses, “faith” on the inside of his arm, playing cards on one shoulder and lots of flames and spider webs.

Wayne Rooney’s “Stupid” Tattoos

There’s nothing like a tattoo that flaunts one’s flaws, and apparently Wayne Rooney understands that. The Manchester United and England National Team superstar has “Just Enough Education To Perform” inked on his forearm, and we think that the piece has just enough sarcasm to be awesome. He also has “English and Proud” on his shoulder, and some praying hands on his back, but while we respect the man’s faith, and kind of respect his national pride (These colors don’t run! Just kidding England, you’re the only friend we got)  they’re both  pretty generic; now when a man tattoos himself with a tag that basically calls hims stupid, that’s something we can really get behind. Man, between that tattoo, and his new hair plugs, we’re starting to think that Wayne really doesn’t care what anybody thinks about him…and we dig it.

Colin Farrell’s Celtic Cross and Tahitian Design

Colin Farrell has made a name for himself in Hollywood for two reason: He’s immensly talented, and he seems to just not give a hoot what people think about him. Part of his not-caring is his getting a bunch of visible tattoos which he almost always ends up having to have covered for roles in movies like In Bruges, Horrible Bosses, Total Recall and Fright Night. Amongst these tattoos are a tribal design from Tahiti on his right arm; the words, “Carpe Diem” and a cross on his left forearm (it used to say ” Carpe Diem…and My Girl”, but he had the second part covered when said girl was no longer in his life); the name “Milli” on his left ring finger (for his first wife, Amelia Warner); and the words, “I Love no matter” on his chest. For a guy who seems to date a lot of women, he sure doesn’t have any commitment problems when it comes to permanently placing a reminder of a girl on his body via ink and needle.
