Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson holds the distinction of being the first professional wrestling superstar to make a successful transition into film as a legitimate actor (emphasis on the word “legitimate”; sorry Hulk Hogan). With roles in films like Be Cool, Fast Five, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, and G.I. Joe: Retaliation, as well as his semi-annual returns to the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment); the man is the picture of success, and his tattoos show it. He only has two, his trademarked “Brahma Bull” on his right triceps, and a large Samoan tribal shield that covers his left pec, shoulder, back, and upper arm; but they’re both very well done. The bull is a simple design, but is nicely drawn and gets extra points for starting a trend and becoming a symbol recognized by fans all over the world. As for the piece that covers his left side; just look at it, it’s gorgeous art and it’s meticulously done. Some people make big money and still get terrible ink put on them, but The Rock paid for quality, and he got it.
